Due to electricity short-circuit, a rented house at Jl Lenteng Agung Raya 2, RT 01/04, Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta was caught on fire, Tuesday (11/29). No fatalities and casualties in the incident.

Taufik (35), one of citizens disclosed, when fire occurred, he was passing Jl Lenteng Agung Raya 2 at around 8 AM, and saw smoke from a house. He then immediately asked for help from local citizens.

"I was walking at that time. But I saw smoke from the house that left by the owner. We shouted calling for help other citizens to help put out the flames," he told, Tuesday (11/29).

Head of Srengseng Sawah Group B Sector X Jagakarsa for South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, Mairanto disclosed sent two fire trucks to the scene. 

"The material loss is reaching Rp 20 million," he stated.

Luckily, the firefighter officer managed to put out the flames half an hour later.
