On that basis, the Special Anti-Corruption Unit of the General Attorney’s Office on Friday (5/23) searched PT Sindebaja Perkasa which located on Jalan Raya Pegangsaan Dua, KM 5/88, RT 06/03, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-District, North Jakarta. From there, the investigators confiscated some documents and electronic tools which allegedly related to TransJakarta bus procurement corruption case.
The General Attorney’s Office investigation team arrived in location at 10 AM. A total of eight investigators examined some documents and electronic devices, such as laptops and computer desktops in the company director’s room.
City Handed Bus Procurement to PT TransjakartaOne of the investigators, Sukarman, explained that their arrival is not related to the case involving Udar Pristono. Instead, they came to investigate the corruption allegation case related to TransJakarta bus procurement in 2012. “We’re still in investigation process. Several documents and electronic tools are confiscated,” he stated.
According to Sukarman, the examination was conducted in the room of PT Sindebaja Perkasa Director, Indra Gunawan. The room is located on the 2nd floor of the office. “At the moment, the status of the person (Indra Gunawan) is still a witness. The investigation is still underway and we’re still investigating other related documents,” he uttered.
Meanwhile, Head of General Attorney’s Office Information Center, Setia Untung Arimuladi, acknowledged that the search done by General Attorney’s Office investigators in PT Sindebaja Perkasa is related to the alleged TransJakarta bus procurement corruption in 2012. The procurement itself consists of two packages of articulated buses with Budget Implementation List (DIPA) of Rp 150 billion.
