Tax Revenue must Be Optimized

Several Jakarta City Council members highlighted the regional tax revenue which already using online system.

Tax revenue targets are hotel, restaurant, entertainment and parking. Those taxes did not meet its target this year.

Abdurrahman Suhaimi, one of members, said tax official should monitor the hotel and entertainment taxes.

“Allegedly, the tax was registered as hotel. In fact, it also runs entertainment activity,” he said.

Meanwhile, Muallif, another member, reminded to control the taxpayers tightly. It is aimed to prevent tax leaking. Target for next year revenue is Rp 35.23 trillion.
