Jakarta Department of Transportation has been completing facilities at Pulogebang Terminal, East Jakarta. Especially for traffic signs, it will use light emitting diode (LED) type.

Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Andri Yansyah, said the traffic signs previously used old material. Choosing LED type for traffic sign is aimed to make the terminal as pilot project in Indonesia.

“Road signs must be repainted to smooth the traffic of AKAP, medium, small, and Transjakarta buses,” he added.
According to him, IT as terminal operational is being checked by Jakarta Dept. of Communication, Informatics, and Public Relation. In fact, the IT has been provided before, but the application is not ready yet.
By adding and improving the facilities, it is hoped the terminal will be more busy. Hundreds of existing kiosks will be operated by traders of PD Pasar Jaya.
