South Jakarta Administration opens a health clinic at Blok M Square. The clinic serves under the Kebayoran Baru Sub-District Community Health Center.

“This is the first health clinic opened in mall. This program is to bring closer healthcare services to the residents,” stated Head of South Jakarta Health Sub-Department, Kurnianto Amien, Monday (5/26).
According to Amien, previously a clinic was also opened in public space. The location is in Tebet Flat.
City Will Build 3 Pediatric Hospitals This Year“This is a program of Jakarta Governor who wants the residents to be closer and easier in getting healthcare services,” he told.
About the clinic in Blok M Square, it is located on the 1st floor. Besides serving general health complaints, the clinic also has a breastfeeding room.
“General practitioners work in shifts from Monday to Friday starting 10 AM until 3 PM. This clinic will not lessen doctors in the main community health center, because it already has budget to contract medical officers,” he stated.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Mayor, Syamsuddin Noor, explained that from 35 malls in his jurisdiction, only Blok M Square management gives special place for city administration to open clinic in the mall.
“This is the first, and we’ll encourage other mall managements as well as stakeholders to facilitate healthcare services opening. Minimally, there is one clinic opened in each sub-district that separated from the community health center to be closer to the public,” he uttered.
