23,852 Street Lights in C. Jakarta Use LED

The replacement of street light lamp in Central Jakarta by using smart light emitting diode (LED) has been completed by Central Jakarta Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy. Now 23,852 lamps have been replaced with LED.

Now the lamp replacement is 100 percent completed

Iswandi, agency’s head, said the small street uses 40 watt power, environmental road uses 90 watt, connecting road uses 120 watts, and protocol road uses 240 watt power.

“Now the lamp replacement is 100 percent completed,” he said, Tuesday (12/13).

The replacement was conducted in Menteng Sub-district by replacing 3,073 lamps, Gambir Sub-district by 3,134 lamps, Tanah Abang Sub-district by 3,506 lamps, Senen Sub-district by 2,853 lamps, Johar Baru Sub-district by 1,825 lamps, Kemayoran Sub-district by 4,276 lamps, Sawah Besar Sub-district by 2,430 lamps, and Cempaka Putih Sub-district by 3,025 lamps.

“The replacement is still conducted outside the existing lamp. It is based on the citizen request,” he closed.
