RT/RW Operational Cost Is Eligible to Be Raised

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed the RT/RW's operational cost is already eligible to be raised. Besides as public figure, they are also very important for spearheading the government to the public.

They (RT/RW) are very important, because the scope of work that is directly in contact with the public. Hence, it is already eligible to be raised

The statement was conveyed to respond a proposal of RT/RW during silaturahmi along with City Council, LMK and RW in West Jakarta at Tanjung Duren GOR, Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta on Wednesday (12/14),requesting that operational cost to be increased from the current salary, RT 975,000 per month and RW Rp 1,200,000 per month. 

"They (RT/RW) are very important, because the scope of work that is directly in contact with the public. Hence, it is already eligible to be raised," he disclosed, Wednesday (12/14).

RT/RW Only Gets Operational Allowance

Therefore, to realize such aspiration, his party will discuss it along with Jakarta DPRD.

"In the government wheel, there are two things, namely executive and legislative. I'll discuss it first along with DPRD as legislative," he uttered.
