Disabled-Friendly Sidewalk in N. Jakarta Construction Completed

The construction of disabled-friendly sidewalk on four roads in North Jakarta are completed

The rest will be used to plant trees

North Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Bina Marga, Hamdan, said mostly the sidewalks construction is completed 90 percent.

“The rest will be used to plant trees,” he said, Sunday (12/25).

Sidewalk Widening Project in 42 Locations Accelerated

The sidewalks are on Jalan Akses Marunda by one km and 3.2 m, Jalan Kramat Raya, in front of Jakarta Islamic Center (JIC) by 930 m and 2.87 m.

Next are on Jalan Sudarso by 1.4km and 2.3 m, Jalan Stasiun Tanjung Priok by 737 m and 3.6 m, Jalan Gunung Sahari and Hidup Baru by 753 m and 2.4 m.

“The last is on Jalan Pluit Timur by 972 m and 2.7 m,” said Hamdan.

According to him, the sidewalks are constructed by using floor hardener material for disabled people lane.

“There is also sparing pipe for utility,” he closed.
