City Must Act Decisively Against Projects in Jakarta

Jakarta Provincial Government and Central Government should coordinate in the development of the capital city. It is to avoid any projects that already built and demolished again, because of programs from other agencies.

Jakarta City Council (DPRD) Commission B Member, Syariffudin disclosed some projects in Jakarta are often demolished again.

"Aesthetics Jakarta becomes damaged due to lack of synchronization of development undertaken by the central government," he disclosed, Monday (12/12).

He explained the construction does not sync leads to the loss that experienced by the citizens. One of its concerns is the roads and sidewalks in North Jakarta that have been built and arranged, but demolished again.

"It was back-damaged due to gas pipeline installation by the company's red plate," he expressed.

He continued it has an impact on traffic jam and casualties, because the motorists often fall while passing on the road that being excavated.

"It is not felt and known by the central government, due to lack of synchronization of development," he said.

Syariffudin continued Jakarta government must act firmly against the development activities undertaken by a number of companies belonging to the central government.

"Related unit should be invited to establish a good cooperation in the interests of society," he finished.
