Collapsed Building Roof in Pinus Elok RPTRA Repaired Soon

East Jakarta Housing and Government Building Sub-dept asked the contractor to repair the building roof that collapsed around the Pinus Elok RPTRA. 

There is a mistake in the design. There is no a rod for anchoring the framework, that's why it was collapsed. It must be changed

"There is a mistake in the design. There is no a rod for anchoring the framework, that's why it was collapsed. It must be changed," disclosed Ujang Zaenudin, Head of East Jakarta Housing and Government Building Sub-dept, when he reviewed the Pinus Elok RPTRA, Tuesday (12/27).

It should be in the frame fitted with mild steel rods for anchoring loads. But it was not conducted. Thus the building roof could not support the weight of the concrete tile. This condition is worsened with mild steel material which is very thin and easily pliable. While the tile, its weighs is about three kilograms per sheet.

Collapsed Kalimalang Plaster Has Been Repaired

Meanwhile, Division Head of Operation for PT Jakon as contractor, Tri Wibowo admitted will repair the collapsed roof. It is targeted to be completed within one week.

"We'll repair it soon. Hopefully, it can be done in one week. We'll overtime 24 hours," he stated.

The Pinus Elok RPTRA is built using 2016 APBD. As planned, Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono will inaugurate it.
