Four Visitors of Nightclub Netted Due to Drugs Possession

Approaching New Year's Eve, the joint personnel did a raid against nightclub along Jl Matraman Raya, East Jakarta, Thursday (12/29). They managed to secure four visitors of nightclub NM and brought to East Jakarta Resort Police Headquarter. This is because they consumed drugs.

For further examination, we bring them to the Resort Police Headquarter for questioning

The raid itself was targeted some nightclubs in East Jakarta. When arriving at a nightclub at Jl Matraman, they immediately checked all visitors through a urine test. It has involved East Jakarta Resort Police, BNN and Garnisun TNI.

Chief of East Jakarta Resort Police Drugs, AKBP Aris Timang disclosed, from the raid, four visitors were netted, consisting 3 women and 1 man. They were positively consuming drugs type amphetamine, methamphetamine, benzo or ecstasy

City Remains Monitor Drugs Circulation at Discotheque

"For further examination, we bring them to the Resort Police Headquarter for questioning," he stated.

It is conducted to suppress the drugs circulation, especially ahead of New Year, which is used by many to abuse the use of drugs. It is intensified simultaneously in five regions of the capital.
