Traffic Diversion in Ancol Applied Tomorrow

The New Year’s eve celebration in Ancol, North Jakarta is predicted to attract many people. That is why the traffic diversion will be applied in Ancol.

In front of Hailai, vehicles heading to Tanjung Priok are diverted right. Vehicles to Ancol are going straight

North Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Transportation, Benhard Hutajulu, said traffic diversion will be applied for three locations around Ancol. Those three areas are U-turn of Jalan Lodan in front of Aston Hotel, Jalan Lodan channel before Ancol kupingan and Pasir Putih Ancol traffic light.

“In front of Hailai, vehicles heading to Tanjung Priok are diverted right. Vehicles to Ancol are going straight,” he said, Friday (12/30).

Regent Instructs to Hold New Year Celebration in Every Urban Village

On Jalan Lodan channel, vehicles from Ancol heading to Tanjung Priok are diverted to left before U-turn on rem kupingan Kemayoran. It is aimed to avoid vehicle surge from Jalan RE Martadinata heading to Ancol or Kemayoran.

At Pasir Putih Ancol traffic light, vehicles from Kemayoran or Ancoltoll gate will be diverted to left. Vehicles from Ancol can not go straight and diverted to left.

“Traffic diversion is also aimed to ease vehicles exiting Ancol. 100 transportation agency personnel will be deployed there,” he added.
