221 Medical Personnel Standby for New Year’s Eve

As many as 221 medical personnel were standby for New Year’s Eve. They were spread at crowd spots in five city administration and one regency areas. The effort was aimed to anticipate incident during celebration.

Jakarta Head Dept. of Health, Koesmedi Priharto, admitted all city administrations to hold entertainment stages.

“221 medical personnel are doctors, nurses, and ambulance drivers,” he said, Saturday (12/31).

Several crowd spots are Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Ancol, Kota Tua, Setu Babakan, Ragunan, shopping centers, and praying houses. Moreover, 52 ambulances were also deployed.

In Seribu Islands, only two ambulances were deployed. Entertainment stage was provided in Pramuka Island.

“There are three posts in Pramuka Island, Tidung Island, and Pari Island. 24 medical personnel and two sea ambulance are deployed,” he closed.
