5,038 Jakarta Officials Are Inaugurated Today

As much as 5,038 officials are inaugurated at the Silang Monas, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (1/3). It is done according to Bylaw No. 5/2016 on Formation and Composition of Structural Official.

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed the inauguration already has approval from Home Ministry and State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform.

He explains, according to Bylaw No. 5/2016, there are 952 officials downsized.
"According to national target, there is 15.87 percent of post downsized," he expressed.
Based on the data of Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD), as many as 3,561 officials are gazetted and 1,477 officials are inaugurated. In details, they are 241 people promoted, 1,138 people rotated, 80 people mutated, 18 people downsized and 846 people demoted.
As for the detail, those officials are echelon II (93 people), echelon III (897 people) and echelon IV (4,048 people) with total post reached 5,038. There are also three officials have not been inaugurated because of waiting the issuance of Gubernatorial Regulation about Work Procedures Organizational Structure (SOTK).
By doing so, it could be made efficiency on Regional Performance (TKD) up to Rp 134 billion.
"We apologize to the officials who have been rotated or demoted. We hope they can accept this," he disclosed.
