Jembatan Bendungan Melayu Plumpang

August, Bendungan Melayu Bridge Construction Finished

The project is finally re-constructed. In this week, we're targeting 30 concrete piles can already be installed on the south and north sides of the road

The delays in the construction of Bendungan Melayu Bridge on Jalan Plumpang Raya, North Jakarta, has finally re-continued. The construction is stagnated because there was found damage to stake tools and utility network owned by the water and electricity company under the bridge.

"The project is finally re-constructed. In this week, we're targeting 30 concrete piles can already be installed on the south and north sides of the road," said Head of Road Maintenance and Bridge Section for Jakarta Public Works Department, Puka Yanuar, Wednesday (5/28).

Depok-Antasari Toll Road Construction Started

Yanuar disclosed, for utility network, his side has coordinated with PT Aetra as the water carrier that has the installation. But his side was still having trouble coordinating with the PLN. "We worry if the network is damaged, its impact will harm others," he exclaimed.

He asserted that there is no longer problem on such project worth Rp 4 billion. Its construction was targeted to be completed in upcoming August. "If there was problem, we would replace the contractor soon. Hopefully, the bridge can already be completed after Eid ul Fitr," he hoped.
