Jakarta Provincial Government is able to utilize empty land for planting chili. The effort is aimed to overcome the hike price of chili. In fact, central government intervention is needed to balance the stock.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Provincial Government has its own way to overcome the problem. Jakarta Provincial Government will utilize empty land for planting chili. Lately, the stock decreases significantly by 40-70 tons per day. In fact, the daily necessity is 120 tons per day.
Chili Sold at Rp 60 Thousand Per Kilogram"We can utilize empty land for planting chili," he added.
The plan is not permanent since the land in Ciangir is prepared for flat construction.
