City Council (DPRD) is supporting the planned additional of school bus, as long as it coupled with socialization.

Additional school bus will have positive impact, that is able to reduce congestion

DPRD Commission B Member, Yuke Yurike expressed that socialization is important. Thus school bus operational could be optimal.

"Socialization about school bus is very important, thus bus operational can be optimal," she stated, Thursday (1/12).

She added each policy taken by the executive should have the final purpose.

"Likewise with additional school bus that aims to parse congestion," she expressed.

Yurike assessed, presence of hundreds of school buses in the capital is pretty good. If it is seen from the needs of public, the number is still inadequate.

"Moreover, City Provincial Government still continues to do socialization about mass transportation. Additional school bus will have positive impact, that is able to reduce congestion," she stated.

Besides that, she also reminded the importance of safety and comfort.
