The Pramuka Island Pier condition in Panggang Island Urban Village, Seribu Islands is damaged at several points and parts. In the near future, it will be in total renovation.

"This year, we have budgeted to fix levees, trestle and pier canopy plus monitoring by spending Rp 3 million," said Suherman, Section Head of Infrastructures for Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept, Saturday (1/14).

While, Yulihardi, Head of Panggang Island Urban Village said, the damaged pier was really severe, plus Southwest’s lacing waves last week which collapsed the pier's sheet pile and its pillar.

"That was an up-and-down access to citizens, and if it's not repaired immediately, would be annoying citizen activities," he said.
