City Got Authority to Manage Muara Angke Pier

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono assured, Ministry of Transportation has given authority to City Provincial Government to manage the Muara Angke Pier.

We've discussed this matter with Ministry of Transportation to discuss steps that need to be done

"The authority to manage Muara Angke Pier will be given, following the incident of Zahro Express ferry that exploded on its way to Tidung Island a while ago. We've discussed this matter with Ministry of Transportation to discuss steps that need to be done," he stated, Sunday (1/15). 

By doing so, a team will be formed to smoothen such policy where it would be led by City Secretary, Saefullah.

"In the work meeting, we decided to recruit 12 members in the team under SKPD," he expressed.

The man who popularly called Soni explained that there are three main focuses in term of Muara Angke Pier. 

 

First is infrastructure improvement. There will be assistance from Pelni and ASDP by accommodating traditional boats.

Second, there is improvement of pier management that will be made online.

And the last is improvement zone ownership. Thus, it could realize development of the Integrated Muara Angke Pier.
