PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya ensured rice stock in Jakarta is safe until last February. For now, Pasar Induk Beras Cipinang (PIBC) stock has reached 33,346 tons.

Daily stock is stable too, between 2,500 until 3,000 tons per day

Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang, Arief Prasetyo Adi, said that there's also assistance from Bulog stock. Until February, Bulog prepares up to 20 thousand tons.

"Daily stock is stable too, between 2,500 until 3,000 tons per day. It will be fit enough for now," he said, Monday (1/16).

Arief admitted, generally stock from regional supplier from December to February has decreased. Like, rice type IR 1 Rp 10,150 per kilogram, IR 2 Rp 9,100 per kilogram, and IR 3 Rp 8,150 per kilogram.

"This year's average price is Rp 9,400 (per kilogram). Lower compared to last year by Rp 9,600," he closed.
