Untung Jawa Island already has a new recreational site, namely Sakura Beach. It is the result of the installation of a breakwater in the eastern zone of the island.

Eventually, the beach will be integrated with mangrove area in the northern zone of Untung Jawa Island. Currently, the northern zone has been used for the camping ground.
