Sumarsono Optimistic Velodrome Construction Finish On Time

Acting Jakarta Governor, Sumarsono, observed cycling competition stadium (velodrome) in Rawamangun, Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, Tuesday (1/17). After seeing the construction progress, he optimistic that project will complete as target and ready to be used in Asian Games 2018.

"I am optimistic that velodrome construction will finish on time. The important point here is 580 piles' preparation was done," he said.

He added that this construction which on 11 thousand cubic meters land is faster by 3 percent than the target. According to plan, on March or April, construction progress on ceiling will b e done.

Project of LRT, Velodrome and Equestrian Begins

According to him, construction progress will always be reported to International Olympic Committee (IOC). So far, there's no negative comments from IOC about it.

"From it's start on last June, the progress has already reached 30 percent," he closed.
