School Boat Requested to Be Used for Education Tourism

Seribu Islands Administration requesting three school boats owned by Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept. can be used not only as shuttle boat for students but also as education tourism transport.

"On weekend, I hope boat can be used as tourism transportation for students," said Ismer Harahap, Seribu Islands Vice Regent, Monday (1/23).

He added that most of the student does not know which are residential islands and tourism islands in his area. Although, there are many historical islands and conservation islands in Seribu Islands which can be used as education utility.

School Bus Will Be Used as Tour Bus on the Weekend

While, Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Robert Edward, said that related to that request, his side will cooperate with Education Sub-dept. and Tourism Sub-dept. of Seribu Islands.

"Related to fuel demands, we will coordinate it further," he closed.
