Executive & Legislative Began Discussing 32 Draft Bylaws

Preparation for discussion of the 2017 draft bylaw (Raperda), is started by the executive and the legislative. There are recorded 25 draft bylaws proposed by the executive and 7 draft bylaws by the legislative. In overall, there are 32 draft bylaws that will be discussed.

The 2017 Regional Legislation Program (prolegda) is pretty a lot, that's why for academic study that has been completed can be brought to DPRD

City Council (DPRD)'s Legislation Body (Balegda) Chairman, Mohamad Taufik hoped, preparation on schedule for draft bylaw discussion can be set as possible thus the discussion does not accumulate at the end of the year.

"The 2017 Regional Legislation Program (prolegda) is pretty a lot, that's why for academic study that has been completed can be brought to DPRD," he expressed, on the sidelines of 2017 Draft Bylaw Discussion, at City Council building, Monday (1/23).

The draft bylaw is expected able to be completed up to 85 percent, because the academic study, draft bylaw and proposal had been sent at beginning of the year. 

"Formerly, the proposal was mostly sent every October, thus difficult to be discussed, particularly about budget during joint meeting," he uttered.

Several draft bylaw proposals from the executive are draft bylaw amendment for Bylaw No. 16/2010 on parking tax, Bylaw No. 16/2011 on Rural and Urban PBB and Bylaw No. 15/2010 on Street Light Tax.

As for the draft bylaw proposals from the legislative are about No Smoking Area, Drug Abuse and Education System.
