TPS for Senen Market Traders will Finish in March

PT. Pembangunan Jaya targeting the construction of Temporary Shelter (TPS) for Senen market fire victims traders on the 1st and 2nd floor, Block V, was completed within 1.5 to two months ahead.

It is targeted that Block I and II traders can be relocated to temporary place next March

"It is targeted that Block I and II traders can be relocated to temporary place next March," said Heng Wijaya, President Director of PT. Pembangunan Jaya during a meeting with the City Council (DPRD) Commission B, Wednesday (1/25).

Two Months, Temporary Shelter for Senen Market Sellers Completed

Hengky explained that his side has cooperated with two contractors to speed up TPS construction in Block V, Pasar Senen.

"We also have coordinated with provider to immediately provide hundreds of rolling door units to be installed in temporary shelters," he said.

He added that in the first and second floors of the temporary shelters will be built 800 units of 2x2 meter kiosk.

"Traders who only has counter will be relocated while on land is placed by dawn cake sellers," he added.

Heng continued that his side also coordinated with PLN to repair damaged electricity networks at Senen Market.

"Network repair hopefully will be completed next week," he closed.
