Two Months, Temporary Shelter for Senen Market Sellers Completed

A temporary shelter for sellers who are fire victims at Senen Market is reportedly still under construction and targeted can be finished two months ahead.

All peddlers will get temporary shelter that still being prepared. It's targeted to finish two months

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono assured all sellers will be relocated to the temporary shelter.

"All peddlers will get temporary shelter that still being prepared. It's targeted to finish in two months," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (1/23).

Relocation for Senen Market Peddlers Accelerated

Those will be divided into some locations, such as on first and second floors of Block V. Particularly, counter sellers will be placed at a parking lot of Block I and II.

During shelter construction, seller activity near the market is allowed, as long as it does not disturb public order and traffic.

"I allow them to set up stall around the market, because temporary shelter is still under construction," he said.

And for the Block V revitalization is predicted to take a long time. Considering, it should be through an auction process.

"I don't known when it will finish. Certainly it will take a long time due to auction process," he finished.
