This Week, Senen Market's Block III Electricity Re-activated

Power outages problem at Senen Market's Block III, Central Jakarta will be solved this week.

It is estimated, next week, electricity can be activated again

President Director of PD Pasar Jaya, Arief Nasrudin admitted his side has coordinated with PT PLN to repair electricity at Block III, Senen Market.

"It is estimated, next week, electricity can be activated again," he said at City Hall, Monday (1/30).

TPS for Senen Market Traders will Finish in March

Arief also said that, after it is turned on, his side will urge Block III traders who sell on the sidewalk to go back to market area.

At the same time, Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede explained power outages problem is due to fire in Block I and II. Because of that, most of traders in Block III had to open stall on the sidewalk.

He added, for now, all of Senen Market fire victims agreed to be relocated to first and second floor of Block V that will be their temporary shelter.

"They are agreed to be relocated. There are about 1,102 kiosks burnt from that incident," he expressed.

According to Mangara, in the near future, they can already occupy the prepared kiosks in the shelter.
