Council Supports Extension of Transjakarta Route to Airport

Jakarta Legislative (DPRD) is supporting the planned extension of Transjakarta bus route to Soekarno-Hatta Airport and Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.
It can be a solution prior to project of the train and other transportation is done
Considering, people activity in the capital towards both airports are deemed high enough.
PT. Transjakarta Performance Considered Better"It can be a solution prior to project of the train and other transportation is done," disclosed Tubagus Arif, Chairman of Jakarta DPRD Commission B, Monday (1/30).
According to him, such plan could be realized, as long as there is a commitment with bus operator that passes airport route. Thus it does not harm the transportation and tourism entrepreneurs.
"Like the initial plan, Transjakarta maneuver to Bekasi and Depok in which the result was good and able to parse congestion. Moreover, there will be additional airport route," he finished.
