Council Recommended to Arrange Senen Area Integratedly

City Council (DPRD) recommended that Senen area, Central Jakarta, is arranged with integrated concept because it already has terminal, station, and traditional market.

"In the future, it must have an integration. Those need to be arranged all at once," said Syarifuddin, City Council Commission B, Tuesday (1/31).

More Train Stations Integrated with Transjakarta

According to him, Senen Market location for now is actually can have flats, not only market.

"Land price in Jakarta is expensive. That market since 56 years ago is already like that. It must be thought about it's integration to be more developed," he added.

He continued that if terminal and station area can be integrated with market, it will increase regional earnings section (PAD).

"It is because Senen area has historic value. We want to develop it and do not lose the competitiveness with current malls," he closed.
