Senen Market Traders Visit Council

A number of the representatives of traders who became fire victims at Block I and II of Senen Market visit City Council (DPRD) Commission B. They visit to express aspiration related to sale location.

They (traders) ask parking space can be used as temporary sale location

"They (traders) ask parking space can be used as temporary sale location," said Arief, one of trader representatives in a room of City DPRD Commission B, Monday (1/30).

TPS for Senen Market Traders will Finish in March

Arief said that the temporary shelter, which already prepared in the Senen Market’s Block V is not like what, they want because the place is passed by only a few customers.

"We ask for a decision as soon as possible, because traders have to return selling to continue living," he requested.

In response, City DPRD Commission B Chairman, Tubagus Arif said the step and effort made so far is to make sure the traders to come back to trade. Temporary shelter in Senen Market's Block V itself is planned to build kiosks that can accommodate 1,200 traders.

"But the location matter is still unclear yet. In the near future we will invite PT. Pembangunan Jaya again. I heard they had already prepared a place," he closed.
