City Refining E-BKU System

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps refining electronic system of General Cash Book (e-BKU) for financial management.

The result now can be seen. In last year's closing, we can finish faster, usually it finished at 12 PM, but it already finished at 7 PM

Through the system, Jakarta Provincial Government's financial can be managed like banking system which can do closing everyday.

2016 Financial Statements Finally Drafted

Jakarta Regional Financial Management Institution Deputy Head, Michael Rolandi Cesnand Brata, said that e-BKU system was launched since March 2016. Until now, his side keeps refining this system to make it better. 

"The result now can be seen. In last year's closing, we can finish faster, usually it finished at 12 PM, but it already finished at 7 PM," he said, Wednesday (2/8).

According to Michael, after using the system, Jakarta's financial now can have a closing everyday. Every treasurer in each Regional Work Unit (SKPD) must record every expenditures and revenues at 3 PM.

"So, every treasurer must record daily expenditures. Like a bank, every evening can be known each treasurer current balance," he added.

He continued that the system also facilitating them to control Budget Revenue and Regional Expenditure funds which for now it reached Rp 70.19 trillion.

"To manage Jakarta Provincial Government's funds of Rp 70 trillion, it is impossible not using IT and refining system," he closed.
