Seribu Islands to Have Aircraft Fuel Depot

Seribu Islands Regency Administration received in audience from one of regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) that manages the oil fuel (BBM).

In that audience, the enterprise makes a proposal for developing an aircraft fuel depot in South Seribu Islands that is closest to the Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

Monas Gas Fuel Station Re-Operated

Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo admitted depot development must not be developed in Untung Jawa Island. The reason is the island is categorized as a densely populated area.

"We offer it in Ubi Island that is almost drowning. Later on, it can be revitalized. Considering it's our asset," he stated, Monday (2/13). 

He explains, the island has a width of two hectares and is located approximately five miles from the Soekarno-Hatta Airport. That is why the island was deemed suitable for aircraft fuel depot.

"Related with flow and eligibility location, there will be a follow up later," he finished.
