200 HPR in Seribu Islands Been Vaccinated*

Seribu Islands Sub-dept. of Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Tenacity (KPKP) until now already vaccinated 200 rabies-spreading animals (HPR). It is targetted in 2017 as many as 1,404 recorded HPR will be injected by anti-rabies vaccine.
On March, we do vaccination in Tidung Island Urban Village. On April in Pari Island Urban Village, and continue to another urban village which will end in Kelapa Island Urban Village and we targeting to inject 1,404 animals as listed
"There are 200 HPR that already been vaccinated from Panggang Island urban village. We will do the rest next month (March)," said Heru Tjahjono, Head of Animal Husbandry and Health Sub-dept. (KPKP) of Seribu Islands, Tuesday (2/14).
He explained there are 200 vaccinated HPR consist of 148 cats in Pramuka Island, 35 cats in Panggang Islands, 12 cats in Karya Island, 1 cat and 4 dogs in Nusa Keramba.

He explain the vaccination not only to achieve Key Performance Target (KPI) of City KPKP Dept. in 2017, but also to control animal's contagious disease.
