Floods in Pejaten Timur Receded

Floods that inundate a settlement that located at Gg. Buntu, Jalan Masjid Al Makmur, Pejaten Timur, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, finally receded.

Water began to recede at 5 AM

Formerly, the settlement was inundated up to 2.5 meters on Wednesday (2/15) night and began to recede at 5 AM.

Floods Force Residents in Bukit Duri to Flee

Nanang (45), a citizen of RT 17/07, Pejaten Timur disclosed, water overflowing from Ciliwung River around 9 PM and continued to rise until 2 AM. As result, some people living in the riverbank had to be evacuated to the Al Makmur Mosque.

"Water began to recede at 5 AM," he told, Thursday (2/15).

Based on Beritajakarta.com's observation, a number of citizens are still cleaning up mud and garbage from their homes.
