South Jakarta Targeting ZIS Fund Rp 22 Billion This Year

The South Jakarta Administration is targeting the fund absorption of charity, donation, and alms (ZIS) amounting to Rp 22.7 billion this year. The target increases to 11 percent compared to last year which reached only Rp 19.13 billion.

Last year, we managed to collect ZIS fund for as much as Rp 23.13 billion. The amount exceeds the target set, which was Rp 19.13 billion

Head of South Jakarta Muslim Charitable Donation Board (Bazis), Sutriana Lela, stated that she is optimistic the target can be achieved, despite the amount of ZIS fund until May only reached Rp 6.15 billion.

“Last year, we managed to collect ZIS fund for as much as Rp 23.13 billion. The amount exceeds the target set, which was Rp 19.13 billion,” she said, Tuesday (6/3).

Thousands of Students Chase Bazis Scholarship

To achieve the target this year, Lela expects for roles from the citizens, government officials, and stakeholders. South Jakarta Bazis is targeting Rp 17.5 billion to be absorbed from South Jakarta Administration employees.

“As for the sub-district level, the highest target is in Kebayoran Baru, amounting to Rp 787.2 million,” she told.
