East Jakarta Mayor Urges PNS to Put Aside 2.5 Percent of TKD

East Jakarta Mayor, HR Krisdianto, asked the civil servants (PNS) in East Jakarta Administration to put aside Rp 100 thousand or 2.5 percent of the regional performance allowance (TKD) received to perform alms, donation, and charity (ZIS) payment.

According to Krisdianto, all this time ZIS is very beneficial in helping underprivileged people and supporting other social programs. “Don’t hesitate to pay ZIS. I myself witnessed that ZIS is really distributed to the right people,” he stated.

Meanwhile, to optimize ZIS collection, civil servants and candidate civil servants will be given a statement of willingness form to pay for ZIS and Social Charity for as much as 2.5 percent of their TKD every month through Bank DKI.

“By ZIS equalization from TKD’s cut, it is hoped that ZIS fund collection in East Jakarta could be increased,” expressed Head of East Jakarta Muslim Charity Collection Board (BAZIS), Dwi Busara.
