The rescue crews of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. is searching for a teenager identified as a citizen of RT 09/15 Bidara Cina Urban Village, Jatinegara, East Jakarta who drowned in Ciliwung River.

Section Head of Fire Handling and Rescue, Gatot Sulaeman disclosed the victim swept away from the river at around 6.30 PM when he/she was playing with him/her four friends.
"The tragedy occurs when it rains. He fell and drown," he stated, Wednesday (2/22).
145 Fish Domes Get DrownedThen the four friends immediately asked for help to local citizens. Unluckily, the victim was not found, locals then reported it to the officer of East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. at around 7.47 PM.
"We've sent one rescue team. Until now, searching is still underway," he closed.
