A Drowned Fireman Still Missing

As many as 3 boats of Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department were deployed to search their member nam ed Zendri (32) who has been missing since last Wednesday (9/16).

The squad commander, Hikmatullah stated, the victim was allegedly drowned and swept away when he did snorkeling in Tanjung Pengantin, Pramuka Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands.

"We did hold a training, but he was not the participant," he told, Friday (9/18)

According to him, the search is focused on the last point he was seen until the islands around it. "3 boats are deployed to search the victim but he's still missing. Today we're going to search in Tidung Island," he explained.

Previously, according to one of officers, around 4 PM the victim himself asked for permission to do snorkelling in Tanjung Pengantin Beach, beside Pramuka Island Pier. But he did not come back until night.
