As many as 14 units of online taxi were towed by personnel in front of Kalibata City Apartment and Kalibata Station, Pancoran, South Jakarta. Illegal parking raid was held by South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept.

"There are 19 vehicles netted, 14 of them are online taxis and others are conventional taxis," said South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Christianto, Wednesday (2/22).

According to him, those vehicles violated the rules by parking on the side of road even there are ban signs. Thus disturbed traffic flow around that area.

" We often held raid there, but they ignore our warning ," he added.

The 14 online taxis were directly towed by personnel. While another 5 conventional taxis got ticketed.

"Cars which towed must pay penalty directly to Bank DKI as many as Rp 500 thousand," he closed.
