Jakarta Health Dept. asked to develop palliative care, especially in community health center (Puskesmas). Thus citizen will not only get curative treatment, but also to be continued after that process.

Poor citizen and treated in RSUD must be monitored continuously after they went home

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, said health services for citizen must complete. Especially for citizen who have Health Social Security Service Institution (BPJS Kesehatan) card.

"Poor citizen and treated in RSUD must be monitored continuously after they went home. That is called palliative care," he said at City Hall, Wednesday (2/22).

RSUD must coordinate with local urban village puskesmas where the patients live. It is aimed to complete the cure.

"If patients already go home, puskesmas personnel should continue the treatment. There must be cooperation between RSUD personnel and puskesmas," he closed.
