The Kamal Market located at Jalan Benda Raya, Kamal Urban Village, Kalideres, West Jakarta will be renovated in the upcoming April. The market peddlers will be relocated to a temporary shelter (TPS).
Renovation is targeted will be complete in August with 300 kiosks
Djarot Saraffudin, Section Head of Cooperative and UKM, West Jakarta KUMKMP Sub-dept. said, 200 peddlers in the market have got socialization and are willing to be relocated.
"Relocation place will use an empty land near the market," he expressed, Thursday (2/23).
