Flats Children Invited to Have Recreation on Weekends

City Residential Area and Public Housing Department (DPRKP) will invite children who live in 22 City flats to go to recreational places every weekend. 

Recreation will be held every Saturday for every flat in turns

Recreation which will be joined by 1,011 children and 135 companions is planned to start on February 25 to August 19, 2017.

City DPRKP Head, Arifin, said in this activity, his side cooperates with Regional Work Unit (SKPD) such as City Transportation Department (Dishub).

"Recreation will be held every Saturday for every flat in turns," he said, Friday (2/24).

He explained in this activity, children will shuttle from flat using school bus at 7 A.M. One place that will be visited by flat children is Planetarium in Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta.

"Dishub will prepare 2 units of school bus to shuttle flat children," he added.

According to him, this recreation is held to give knowledge, broaden their horizons, and physical refreshment at once for flats children. 

"Planetarium is chosen thus they will get to know outer space. This Activity will begin from February 25 to August 19," he closed.
