Tanjung Priok Urban Village Doesn't Yet Have RPTRA

From seven urban villages in Tanjung Prio Sub-district, North Jakarta, there is only one urban villages has yet to have a child-friendly integrated public space (RPTRA) until now. It is due to lack of empty land.

According to Syamsul Huda, Head of Tanjung Priok Sub-district, densely populated areas in Tanjung Priok Urban Village makes his side has difficulties to find an empty land as wide as 1,000 square meters for RPTA.
"I'm continuing coordinate with Tanjung Priok Urban Village Head to find empty land, even though it belongs to private party. Thus City Provincial Government could buy and use it as RPTRA," he stated, Sunday (2/26).

In Tanjung Priok Sub-district now, there have been 12 RPTRAs in five urban villages. In details, they are five in Sunter Jaya Urban Village, four in Sunter Agung Urban Village, one in Papanggo Urban Village, one in Sungai Bambu Urban Village and one in Kebon Bawang Urban Village.
"This year we develop one in Warakas Urban Village. From seven urban villages, until now, Tanjung Priok Urban Village has yet to have it," he told.
