89 Grocery Stalls in Central Jakarta Ready to Disburse BPNT

89 grocery stalls are ready to disburse the need of the Non-Cash Food Aid (BPNT) program in Central Jakarta. As the initial stage, there are 5,957 holders of Prosperous Family Card (KKS) that benefited from the Family Hope Program (PKH) to buy groceries.
The aid can't be redeemed in form of money
According to Susana Budi Susilowati, Head of Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept., the PKH participant could buy groceries such as 10 kg of rice and 2 kg of sugar worth RP 110,000 from such stalls. If it is less, the stalls will coordinate with Bulog.
BPNT Distribution in Central Jakarta Starts"The aid can't be redeemed in form of money, but just rice and must be spent in the stall," he expressed, Monday (2/27).
In the initial stage, those are only able to buy rice and sugar. However, there was a possibility they will also be shopping other grocery commodities.
"For this time, we just give two commodities (rice and sugar) that can be redeemed for two months. Talk about fund, it's from the government," he stated.
She continued there are still 15,316 receivers for BNPT in Central Jakarta. But, this time, their KKS card is still under printing from Ministry of Social.
