40 Shops in South Jakarta Prepared to Distribute Free Rice

40 grocery shops will be prepared for taking free rice and sugar for poor citizen in South Jakarta. Those shops are part of joint economy business group (kube) under South Jakarta Social Sub-dept.
From 40 shops, for now just 5 shops that ready to be operated
South Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Head, Mursidin, said from total 40 shops as planned, for now only 5 shops construction are finished. These five shops are equipped by non cash sale-and-purchase transaction equipment such as i-pad, bluetooth printer, display window, and another equipment.
"There are 40 shops that we prepared to serve free rice and sugar aid taking for poor citizen. From 40 shops, for now just 5 shops that ready to be operated. Later it will be launched by Social Minister," he said, Thursday (2/23).
City to Launch Non-Cash Food Aid ProgramBesides shops, there are 161 grocery agencies who ready to distribute free rice and sugar. These agencies are under a private bank.
He explained for citizen who got Non-Cash Food Aid (BNPT) must have e-Warong card or KKS which balance is already filled by government to take free rice and sugar aid.
"But this card cannot be cashed like Jakarta Pintar Card (KJP)," said Mursidin.
In South Jakarta, for now is noted there are 39,776 citizen who join Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH) and got Non-Cash Food Aid (BNPT).
