Seribu Islands Targeted to Provide 23 Trash Banks

Seribu Islands Regency Family Welfare Guidance Mover Team (TP-PKK) Leader, Fera Budi Utomo, targeting all RWs in her areas to have trash banks.

I ask to multiply trash bank in Seribu Islands, which is one trash bank in each RW

According to Fera, until today, from 23 RWs in Seribu Islands there are two RWs that have trash banks. First is Punaga Jaya trash bank at RW 01, Tidung urban village, and second is in Pramuka Island RPTRA.

"I ask to multiply trash bank in Seribu Islands, which is one trash bank in each RW," she said when attending Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) Celebration in Tidung Island , South Seribu Islands, Monday (2/27).

7 Tons of Trash Transported from Seribu Islands

She explained that with trash bank development, besides helping government to handle the trash on island also improving citizen earnings.

She admitted there are some problems in trash box construction in Seribu Islands. One of them is about transportation to sell trash bank products into the main island.

"Certainly it is needed own transportation facilities to sold trash bank product to the main island. And maybe this is one of the problem," she closed.
