Regency Government Requested to Accelerate 24 Gensets Deletion

Seribu Islands Administration Government through Energy and Industrial Sub-dept. (Sudin PE), has asked to accelerate 24 unused generator set (genset)s deletion process.

Please accelerate the process thus we can use the place while we are still recording current assets

Seribu Islands Energy and Industrial Sub-dept. Sub-dept. Head, Melinda Sagala, said asset deletion proposal was submitted since 2015. Hopefully, the unused genset place can be used to public facilities later.

"Please accelerate the process thus we can use the place while we are still recording current assets," she said, Tuesday (2/28).

Asset Recording from CSR in Seribu Islands Constrained

She explained there are 24 units that have been proposed to City Regional Asset and Financial Management (BPKAD) for its deletion. 8 genset units located in South Seribu Island since 2007 and 16 units in North Seribu Islands since 2012.

Deletion was proposed because Seribu Island recently is not needed genset or diesel power plants (PLTD) again, except Sebira Island.

"Especially in Sebira Island, one unit genset with the newest technology will be added this year. Old genset will be reserved as stock," she closed.
