Knowledge about the early fire prevention is deemed very important, thus fire does not spread. Hence, North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept. starts holding socialization at SMAN 18, Jalan Warakas I, Tanjung Priok.
There are 150 participants in such socialization. Materials given are about cause of the fire and how to handle fire, either using traditional tools or portable fire extinguisher (apar).
Daan Mogot Flat's Occupant Requested for Fire Training"Fire can occur anywhere and anytime. All people should be able to know how to handle the flames, especially the young generation," said Satriadi Gunawan, Head of North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., Thursday (3/1).
Besides that, the students are also taught to extinguish the flames directly.
