City's Culture and Tourism Promoted in Berlin

Jakarta's culture and tourism will be promoted in Internationale Tourismus Borse-Berlin 2017 in Berlin, Germany. The event will be participated by 10,000 exhibitors of tourism industry and government from 187 countries.

Head Division of Destination and Marketing for Jakarta Dept. of Tourism and Culture, Linda Enriany, explained Betawi culinary is able to attract more tourists to visit Jakarta. The culinary are gado-gado (mixed vegetables with nut sauce), beef stew, bir pletok (ginger drink with spices), and akar kelapa cake.
"Betawi dance will be exhibited at Jakarta booth, Indonesia Pavilion (Tourism Ministry) and Malaysia Pavilion," she said, Thursday (3/9).
Culinary Tourism Center at Block S InauguratedAccording to her, Abang and None (Abnon) will also promote the tourism during the event on March 8-15. Another strategy is walking exhibition, or inviting the visitor visiting the booth.
