300 students of Al-Ifadah Islamic Elementary School (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah), Jl. Gedung Panjang RT 05/13, Penjaringan Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, learned fire handling in case fire happened.
This event was held to suppress fire cases in North Jakarta
North Jakarta Rescue and Fire Handling Sub-dept. Head, Satriadi Gunawan, said the socialization and fire extinguishing practice are efforts to suppress number of fire cases in North Jakarta that mostly happened in dense residential area.
"This event was held to suppress fire cases in North Jakarta," he said, Monday (3/13).
SMAN 18 Students Trained How to Handle FireThis event was done in school yard and students were taught to extinguish fire using small fire extinguisher (APAR) and wet sack.
"We also inform what thing children can do when fire disaster happen," he closed.
